Summary:
This standard applies to water including seawater, mineral water, medicinal water, brine (also artificially produced) and thermal water in swimming pools produced) and thermal water in swimming and bathing pool facilities with public use including such facilities which are used by a larger and changing group of people. It does not apply to water in baths for private use, to water in facilities with biological water treatment, and water playgrounds. It also does not apply to floating facilities and/or floating baths according to DGfdB R 65.11, in which the water is treated in batches or discontinuously.
