The climate transition in the automotive sector is linked to a large number of emerging standards that help to comply with the extensive regulation in Europe.

The European Green Deal signals the transition from fossil fuels in vehicles to electromobility as an indispensable requirement to achieve the goal of climate neutrality by 2050.

Below are some of the standards committed to this growth strategy:
- UNE-ISO 19880-1:2022. Hydrogen gas. Service stations.
- UNE-EN 50708-1-1:2021. Power transformers. Additional European requirements.
- UNE-EN IEC 62196-1:2023. Plugs, socket-outlets, vehicle couplers and vehicle inlets. Conductive charging of electric vehicles.
- UNE-EN ISO 17268:2022. Connection devices to supply hydrogen gas to terrestrial vehicles.
