The new standard UNE 192008-2:2024 describes the system for carrying out the regulatory inspections required by current legislation, in order to check the safety conditions of lifts in operation, regardless of the date and legislative framework in which they were put into service.
Chapter 2 lists the reference standards, which are essential for the application of this document.
UNE 192008-2:2024 applies to lifts with a nominal speed of less than or equal to 0.15 m/s and complies with the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC).
Lifts with a speed of less than or equal to 0.15 m/s are also included, which were registered before the entry into force of Royal Decree 1644/2008 and approved in accordance with Directive 98/37/EC.
