The new UNE-EN 50518:2020/A1:2024 makes changes to: definitions, the structure of the alarm receiving centre (ARC) and the alarm systems of the alarm receiving centre (ARC).
UNE-EN 50518:2020 specifies the minimum requirements for the monitoring, receiving and processing of alarm messages generated by alarm systems, which take place as part of the complete fire protection and safety process.
In Appendix C (Information), it defines the requirements of the alarm management system: structure of an alarm management system, possible failures, messages, information to be presented, recording and surveillance of the interconnection with the receiving centre transceiver.
