The UNE-EN ISO 21368:2024 standard provides quality guidelines for companies that use structures bonded with adhesives as a means of manufacturing.
These guidelines have been drawn up to provide a basis for preparing appropriate reports on the risk assessment of structures bonded with adhesives.
They can be adopted in whole or in part, at the user's discretion, to adapt to the structure in question.
Up to four different cases are considered when establishing specific requirements for adhesive bonding:
- Case 1. In contracts that require the user of adhesive to have a quality system other than ISO 9001.
- Case 2. As a guide for a user of adhesives that develops a quality system.
- Case 3. As part of its requirements or in a contract between relevant parties.
- Case 4. As a basis for the risk assessment of structures bonded using adhesives.
