This is a key standard for any laboratory, and it is often referenced in laws, for example: Royal Decree 3/2023 (quality of drinking water), Royal Decree 487/2022 (prevention and control of legionellosis), Royal Decree 742/2013 (technical-sanitary criteria swimming pools), ITC 02.0.02 (protection of workers against silicosis).
Also of note is UNE-EN ISO 15189:2023 on requirements for the quality and competence of clinical laboratories.
